Tongue Tied & Twisted – new promo video

Tongue Tied & Twisted, a new production by Black Country Touring, Peter Chand and music producer PKCtheFirst will be launching in May. Promising a performance of classic Indian tales blended to a backdrop of  contemporary hip-hop and Asian beats.

How many sisters will the wold Jackals spare...what becomes of the foolish man who thought he was dead...and what is the haunting message that a dove signs across time and space...

The show has been inspired by stories researched and collected from local Asian Elder groups over the course of the last six months. Supported through funding from Heritage Lottery Fund and Creative Black Country these stories will be remixed and presented to be enjoyed by all ages and the wider community.

Tongue Tied & Twisted will be launching on the 26th May at the Oak House in West Bromwich, then tour to Southbank Centre in London as part of Alchemy (Festival), and also to Cast in Doncaster. Returning to the Arena Theatre, Wolverhampton, on the 2nd June and Thimblemill Library, Smethwick, on the 4th June.

The show will then be available for general booking and suitable for touring to venues and non-theatre spaces. Please visit our What’s On to get tickets to our local performances and email to discuss booking the show.
